We aim to inspire employees to start simple grassroots experiments, alone or with a small group of colleagues, that might lead to companywide workplace culture improvements. To help achieve our goal, each month we suggest experiments with actionable guidance.
When a team of employees demonstrates positive results from small-scale projects, it creates a sense of validation that helps other employees feel more comfortable and confident in embracing the idea. Essentially, the efforts of a few employees act as “proof” of concept to other employees, including management.
Many papers, blogs, videos, and conferences are on “how to build a thriving culture.” One example is “Creating an Innovation Culture: Key Characteristics and Examples You Can Model.” However, that article and nearly all these resources are repetitive generic ideas and fail to provide actionable guidance.
When a company partners with one of our facilitators, the initial step is to establish a shared understanding of their core values and their significance. Once these values are clarified, the focus shifts to devising practical strategies for their implementation. This entails moving from abstract concepts to actionable plans, showcasing how each value will be translated into tangible actions by employees.
Crafting action-driven strategies necessitates collaboration, innovation, and strategic planning. It’s a multifaceted journey that demands expertise and guidance. Recognizing the potential strain on internal resources, we offer a cadre of seasoned professionals poised to support and steer your team through this transformative process.
